Just had an amazing experience the other day and had to share with Calgary. Had some time on my hands and needed an oil change, and just as I had this thought, the sign saying no appointment necessary caught my eye. Pulled in and omg, no line up! Bruce immediately made me feel like a long time valued customer, his team treating my like a queen and let me know about a spark plug issue I didn’t even know I had. This is the first time as a woman that I have found a shop I can take my car to that has complete integrity and that I don’t feel talked down to or have to put up with pressure sales. So grateful I found you!

Yesterday, I made a decision to take my car to Quick Lube Plus, as it was convenient, and I needed to get some service for coolant and an oil change. I noticed the price for a coolant flush at another establishment to be much higher, so when they quoted me $160 I found that well within reason. They treated me so well, giving me tips and good advice. I started to trust their ability and service. I stopped for an oil change and got so much more. I can understand this extra service if I was young and beautiful, or drove a swanky car, but I’m a grandma with a 10 year old car. Special thanks to Bruce who took the time to explain things. I highly recommend Quick Lube Plus on Macleod Trail to all who want a positive car service experience.
4th visit – service continues to be excellent. In addition to the oil change this trip had the fuel system service, injector cleaner, cooling system flush, power steering fluids, wipers…. . The bill was $450 and I don’t regret a cent. Very helpful and friendly service technicians, Bruce goes all in looking after the details and helping to get the right services. Why book into the dealership, do the drop off and pick up hassle and always wonder why the bill is so much for so little I don’t need a car dealer latte – the cold water at QL is just fine. Can they make it better? A lazyboy in front of the tv maybe? thanks

I purchased one of the Groupons and thought I would give QuickLube Plus a try. Went to have the oil changed in my car yesterday and what a great experience. Quick, knowledgeable people who truly cared about service. No upselling just the truth about what my 2009 Toyota Corolla needed. Think they are more knowledgeable about my car than the dealership. A pleasant surprise!

As an addition to my initial review. I wanted to say the person who worked on my car was Mike B and he is excellent and so knowledgeable.
As a mom I was relieved to hear the great experience my daughter had when bringing in her 97 Toyota Rav she had just purchased to see if the oil needed changing. An anxious experience for a young person turned into an unexpected surprise when the team at Quick Lube went above and beyond her expectations. Soon her brother and I were having our vehicles serviced with the same great service. We are now hooked and will be regular customers from this time forward!
Thankyou to Adam (chatting with him really passed the time quickly when having my rad flushed), Bruce (for going above and beyond in servicing my daughters vehicle), and Festum ( for his dilegence in getting the job done right)!
I had never been to Quick Lube Plus before but it was recommended to me by a friend. I have to admit I was hesitant given that I was told the service would take 10 mins but I was thoroughly impressed. Bruce and a very nice gentleman working on Nov 3rd around 10am (can’t recall his name) were INCREDIBLY helpful. They made sure my car was cleaned inside and out, provided me with water while I was waiting and explained everything they did very clearly so even I could understand (and I’m not a car person at all!). I found it incredibly helpful that they mentioned what things would need to be repaired and what they should do then. They saved me a ton of money from having to repair it all upfront by telling me what needed to be done most. They even checked my tire pressure and battery to make sure everything was winter ready. Thank you thank you thank you for taking such good care of me. I find anything car related to be very overwhelming but I left Quick Lube Plus feeling safe and ready to hit the highway no problem. I took my car in for an oil change at the Macleod Trail location. The staff were prompt, efficient, and friendly. Bruce took the time to ensure that all my needs were met and provided some helpful tips! I will go back and I encourage others to do so also. I looked into pricing prior to going and Quick Lube Plus has competitive prices.

I have waited a while to update my review after a second visit to Quick Lube Plus. A bit of history first….. as you can see I had already written a review that wasnt great, but wasnt bad either.
About 3 months after i wrote this, my phone rang and it was the owner of QLP. He told me that he had read my review online – had a staff meeting about my experiences and then he very kindly offered to give me a gift certificate for a full oil change free of charge. Now bear in mind, I certainly didn’t expect it- and I also didnt give a terrible review – just an honest account of what my experience was. The owner ( Mitch) had expressed how valuable it was to have an independent review a secret shopper almost, that could give a first hand account of his business. I was very impressed that the owner of a business would take the time to read a review and look at it as an opportunity to improve and make his business better. I was going to give another review pending my next oil change, but havent had one yet, I have however, been in today for something else.
So today I was in to get a brake light changed on my VW Beetle. Prior to going in, I was thinking Oh god, I will have to go to the dealership and its going to cost me a fortune. I looked online and saw that they change bulbs here so I popped in. I was looked after by Justin and Mike ( ?) and they were so cool. Really helpful, really nice and even though it was a pain getting the bulb changed – they did it and looked after my car like it was thier own. This whole thing only cost me 10 bucks! What a deal. They also cleaned my windshield.
I was going to get my oil changed too, as it was getting close to needing to be changed ( actually about 1500 miles under). Justin said that my oil level was fine, and there was no need yet. I appreciated the honesty.
So my verdict is this.
Any owner who takes the time to reach out to customers and follow up and then offer a second chance to gain customer loyalty deserves my business. Unlike Mr. Lube etc… this is a small business with a big heart. I will continue to come here, and recommend you give them a try too. Thanks to Mitch and his team. Much appreciated.

I went to Quick Lube Plus on McLeod Trail last week, and Bruce D. helped with a few thing I need for my car. He and his co-workers were very friendly, nice, honest and gentle. The worked very fast and they did an excelent work on my car. I will go back there.
